Biography.
Ricardo is a Mexican Visual Developer and Self-Published Illustrator residing in Southern California.
His goal is to envelop his audience in fantastic worlds that are grounded in reality and cultural importance. He aims to take his viewers on journeys through the worlds he builds through storytelling and strong visual development.

Ricardo has graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a BFA in Illustration, emphasizing in Pre-Production. He has since then self-published his first picture book, Compendium of Partemsian Wildlife.
​
His influences come from his surroundings. They include his Mexican heritage, observing historic architecture and nature, traveling to Mexico, Europe and Australia. His inspirations also include some media like films from Pixar and Disney. Ones that resonate with him are Ratatouille, Coco, Fantasia, and Alice in Wonderland. Other medias include Studio Ghibli films, Legend of Zelda and Avatar: The Last Airbender.

His main aspiration with his artistic career is to hone his skills and gain traction in the entertainment and animation fields, whether it's through television/film, video games or illustrated stories.
